This is an award for the best presentation by a trainee or young member of the Society at the Conference. The cash prize is intended to advance the recipient's career in Oncology, but within this guideline the recipient is free to use this award as desired.

ELIGIBILITY
Who can apply?
Those eligible for the prize are students in scientific or medical disciplines or allied fields and trainee clinicians. You must be an NZSO member. If no suitable person is identified, and at the discretion of the Judging Committee, the prize may be awarded to a member of the Society who is in their first 5 years out of study. The Judging Committee will consist of two consultant oncologists and two professorial scientists. The decision of the panel is final.
APPLICATION PROCESS
To apply, submit your abstract under the relevant category via the abstract submission process. Up to four biomedical and four clinical abstracts will be selected for an oral presentation at the conference.
