Objectives

The principle objectives of the Society are:

To encourage and support education and the advancement of knowledge in all aspects of oncology and related scientific fields including the promotion of scientific research

To organise and conduct an annual conference called the "New Zealand Society for Oncology Annual Scientific Meeting". The purpose of this meeting is to promote the exchange of new research and clinical developments and ideas in clinical oncology and cancer research,

To initiate, arrange and sponsor lectures, seminars and symposia in the promotion of these objectives and to do so singularly or jointly with other persons and professional organisations,

To print and publish any information that the Society may think desirable for the promotion of its objectives.
